Participant Entry Fees and Deadlines:
Registration Deadline (July 21, by 5:00 pm, MDT); Fee: $350 per team*

*By referring a team to participate in this tournament you will receive a $50 referral bonus!  The referral MUST be done during the registration process, no exceptions.  The team you refer will need to list your team name during the registration process.  The referral bonus will then be paid to your team by September 1, 2010.

General Information:
Teams must be gender-specific and players may participate on only one team per division. Division category is determined by the grade of the oldest team player as of the 2009 - 2010 school year.

Team coaches must complete the team entry form with a signed roster/waiver. Each individual player will be registered by his/her coach and must sign the roster/waiver; if under 18 a guardian must sign the roster/waiver.  Roster is limited to 12 players.  Grade verification will be required for youth teams in the form of the final report card or transcript for the 2009-2010 school year. A typed or printed roster must be turned in at the close of registration. Any roster changes must be made 15 minutes prior to the team’s first game. Coaches will be required to furnish player proof of grade upon request from Commissioners at any time during competition. Personnel NOT listed on the roster are not allowed in team bench areas. All protests MUST be made before the game starts and MUST be submitted in writing to the Commissioner.bask.gif
 
Competition Rules and Format: The RMSG has a Zero Tolerance policy. Commissioners reserve the right to suspend or have teams forfeit play for unsportsmanlike conduct from players, coaches or spectators. Unsportsmanlike conduct resulting in an any type of altercation on the court, the venue grounds, etc, will result in a team disqualification for the entire tournament with no refund. Spectators affiliated with the teams are responsible for knowing and adhering to the rules and policies of the tournament. It is the responsibility of the coaches to control their team and spectators. All athletes are responsible for adhering to all applicable high school, NCAA or college association rules and regulations particularly regarding eligibility.
 
All divisions, youth & adult, will use modified National Federation of State High School Associations basketball rules (www.nfhs.org) and RMSG Basketball rules (CLICK HERE for RMSG Basketball rules), except the shot clock will NOT be used. Teams will be guaranteed four games, including participation in the single elimination tournament. The tournament format will be based on the number of teams that register in each division. Rocky Mountain State Games reserves the right to combine or cancel divisions.
 
Each team will be required to provide a scorekeeper or timer.
 
Dress Code: Each team member must wear a numbered jersey or t-shirt.
